Asset Heritage provided a Contextual Analysis and Heritage Impact Assessment for a development comprising four dwellings and a commercial car park adjacent to the former Wethered’s Brewery in the Marlow Conservation Area. Wycombe District Council refused permission for the scheme and Asset formed part of the appellants’ team in the subsequent planning appeal, with Dr. Nicholas Doggett acting as an expert witness at the hearing.

The appeal was conducted on largely heritage grounds and was allowed, with the Inspector sharing Asset’s view that “the proposal would enhance the character and appearance of the Marlow Conservation Area”.
